Yes, André Rieu is still touring, and the official site already lists his Amsterdam Ziggo Dome concert on 9 January 2027 (AndreRieuMovies.com (official site)). This piece separates what official sources confirm about the tour and the orchestra from what the public inputs leave open, including health and membership.
Orchestra founded: 1987 (reported) · First concert: 1 January 1988 (reported) · Shows per year (reported range): 70 to 100 · Official tour listings: andrerieu.com/en/tour

Six facts carry the profile, and only the official website has a primary link in the research, so the rest are labelled as reported.

Is André Rieu still playing music?
Yes, on the evidence available. The official tour page lists dates in Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Czechia, Poland, Bulgaria and Greece, with Bratislava on 4 and 5 November 2026 and Vienna on 6 and 7 November 2026 (andrerieu.com (official tour page)).
The same page lists Cologne on 13 November 2026, Dortmund on 14 November 2026, Prague’s O2 Arena on 8 May 2027 and Gdańsk’s Ergo Arena on 12 May 2027, according to the andrerieu.com (official tour page).
How many shows does the group perform each year?
- The reported range is 70 to 100 shows worldwide per year, taken from a search-result summary with no primary link in the research.
- Goall Concerts lists 47 confirmed dates in 27 cities across 9 countries, from 29 October 2026 to 18 July 2027.
Where are the current tour dates listed?
- The official schedule is on the andrerieu.com tour page.
- Encore Trail lists 13 dates between 10 January and 23 September 2027, according to Encore Trail (tour aggregator).
- Concertful lists only five upcoming concerts (Concertful (concert listings)), which points to a partial listing.
The implication: the official page should set any travel plan, because the aggregators disagree on where the tour starts and ends.
What is André Rieu’s most famous song?
No source in the research ranks a single most famous song, so no answer can be given on the evidence. The name that does appear consistently is the nickname: a What’s On article on the Abu Dhabi date is titled “The King of Waltz” (What’s On (Gulf events guide)).
Any list that crowns one “biggest hit” for Rieu is opinion, not reporting. The nickname is the stronger signal the sources actually support.
The catch: fans looking for a top track will find no authoritative ranking, so the honest answer is the nickname, not a chart position.
Who has left the André Rieu Orchestra?
No verified departures list appears in the research, so no one can be named as having left on the evidence gathered here.
Stephanie Detry’s current status with the orchestra is unconfirmed in the inputs. Any membership change would need a statement from the orchestra’s official site or a dated report from an established news outlet before it is published.
Is Stephanie Detry still with André Rieu?
The inputs do not confirm her current status, so the answer stays open until the orchestra or an established outlet says otherwise.
Membership gossip spreads through fan forums and resale pages. A name on a commerce listing is not a departure notice.
The trade-off: naming a departure too early risks a correction, while waiting risks missing a real change. Until the orchestra publishes a list, the defensible line is that membership is unverified.
What is André Rieu’s current health status?
No verified current health status appears in the research. The inputs contain no recent statement, and this piece does not speculate about a medical condition.
Any health claim should rest on a primary statement or a dated report from an established outlet. Neither appears in the material gathered for this article, so the section stays open rather than guessing.
Is André Rieu healthy in 2026?
The research contains no verified 2026 health statement, so this piece cannot confirm that he is healthy or that he is not.
Why this matters: readers searching for health news usually want reassurance, and only a dated statement can supply it.
What is the official website of André Rieu?
The official website is andrerieu.com (official homepage). Its tour schedule sits on the andrerieu.com (official tour page), which is the listing worth bookmarking.
Where can André Rieu tickets and concert dates be found?
- UK and Ireland 2027 tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, according to Edinburgh News (regional newspaper).
- Resale marketplaces such as Vivid Seats and StubHub appear alongside official sellers, according to TourWax (ticket marketplace).
- Koobit puts average adult prices at about USD $176, rising to USD $221 for premium seats, a low-confidence figure from Koobit (pricing aggregator).
Edinburgh News found the cheapest UK ticket at £66.95 for the Glasgow show, and VIP seats for Liverpool starting from £195 (Edinburgh News (regional newspaper)).
The implication: resale and official prices are not the same product, so compare the seller before paying a premium.

The implication: the spring and summer 2027 dates form the most crowded stretch, so buyers planning around one date should book early.
Confirmed facts versus what’s unclear
Confirmed
- The official website is andrerieu.com (andrerieu.com (official homepage)).
- Maastricht December 2026 and Amsterdam and Antwerp January 2027 dates are listed on the official site (AndreRieuMovies.com (official site)).
- The Abu Dhabi concert takes place on 17 April 2027 at Etihad Arena (What’s On (Gulf events guide)).
- The UK and Ireland run opens in Belfast on 9 September 2027 (Edinburgh News (regional newspaper)).
Unverified
- Current health status: no verified statement exists in the inputs.
- Orchestra departures, and whether Stephanie Detry is still with the orchestra.
- Lisbon start date: Goall Concerts and TourLALA (tour aggregator) give 29 October 2026, while Hypebot gives 30 and 31 October 2026, and the official extract does not list Lisbon.
- Budapest: according to TicketSmarter (ticket marketplace), a Budapest MVM Dome date of 16 October 2026, while aggregator listings show 5 November 2027.
- Bahrain on 19 March 2027, according to Hypebot (music industry news), with no official confirmation in the research.
- The most famous song and the number of languages Rieu speaks.
The catch: the aggregators disagree on where the tour begins and ends, and Hypebot’s end date of 5 November 2027 does not match Goall’s 18 July 2027. The official page has to settle any date a reader plans around.
What the sources say
Two sources, one official and one editorial, describe the upcoming tour in their own words.
“The 2027 New Year’s Concerts tickets for January 9 in the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam and January 10 in the AFAS Dome, Antwerp (Belgium) are on sale now!”
AndreRieuMovies.com (official site)
“Acclaimed violinist and conductor Andre Rieu is touring the UK and Ireland in September and October 2027…”
Edinburgh News (regional newspaper)
The pattern: the official voice sells the dates, while the newspaper frames the same tour as a seasonal purchase. Both agree on the dates, but only the official site can confirm them.
Where this leaves a fan planning 2027
The sources agree on the dates that matter most: the Maastricht December run, the Amsterdam and Antwerp New Year’s concerts, and the Abu Dhabi show on 17 April 2027. They split on the edges of the tour, where Lisbon, Budapest and Bahrain sit in conflicting lists that no primary source resolves. For a fan in Britain or Ireland, the choice is clear: buy the September and October 2027 shows through Ticketmaster now, since Edinburgh News (regional newspaper) reports that some UK shows are already scarce, or accept the resale premium.
